Working Principle
ForeverSeal® Thread Sealing Cord provides fast, clean, and reliable sealing for metal and plastic threaded connections.
The coated polyfiber cord fills thread gaps, seals immediately, and allows the joint to be adjusted by up to 45° after installation.
Installation Steps:
- 01
- Clean the male and female threads with a wire brush. Remove dirt, oil, rust, and old sealing material.
- 02
- Place the cord on the male thread, approximately two threads back from the pipe end.
- 03
- Wrap the cord evenly in the tightening direction. It is not necessary to follow the thread grooves.
- 04
- Apply the recommended number of wraps according to the thread size. Avoid using excessive cord.
- 05
- Cut the cord with the built-in cutter, then press the loose end firmly onto the thread.
- 06
- Assemble and tighten the fitting immediately. Adjust the joint by up to 45° if required.
