Working Principle

ForeverSeal® PTFE Thread Seal Tape creates a tight mechanical seal at threaded gas connections.

When used correctly—starting from the root of the thread and maintaining a steady tension—the specially formulated polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) expands to fill tiny gaps, creating a leak-proof connection between the male and female threads.

Installation Steps:

Clean the threads.

Wind clockwise (tightening direction).

Begin winding from the second turn.

Tighten and overlap the winding as needed; the number of turns depends on the diameter (see specification guide).

Compact the winding.

Install immediately and tighten.

Perform a leak test
